I have been meeting so many gorgeous baby girls over the past few months and I’m not mad about it! Getting to hang out with Matt, Colleen, and baby Juliette in their beautiful Zionsville home was seriously such a treat.

When Colleen reached out to book their session and told me a bit of their family’s story, I knew there was going to be something special about them. They have been through a LOT of heartbreak, and seeing their joy and delight over their beautiful new baby girl just made my heart so happy.

When I walked into Matt and Colleen’s home, I was giddy over all the amazing natural light in all their rooms! Their style was so cozy and bright, and I can’t wait to see the way these pretty colors in their photos complement their home decor when printed and displayed. 😉

Juliette was awake and alert for the first several minutes of our session, showing off her gorgeous blue eyes! Pretty much the second we swaddled her up though, she was out like a light for the remainder of the time. She was a DREAM baby.

I loved getting all the detail shots of her sweet little face, hands, toes, and beautiful eyelashes. What I would give to have those lashes, girl.

I thought she might wake up and protest when we changed her into this pretty little LouLou & Co gown (my personal favorite in my client closet!) but she just snuggled in and fell right back asleep for the bassinet shots! Like I said…dream baby.

Fur brother Tyskie was a little jealous about all the attention he was missing out on, at least until he got a treat to enjoy on his throne. Then he seemed to forgive us.

Prior to our session, Matt and Colleen shared with me that they had lost their baby boy Ryan shortly after his birth in 2019. As we took photos throughout the morning, Colleen showed me a teddy bear that was made in the exact weight of baby Ryan when he passed. We made sure to include some photos with this special teddy, which I’m sure Juliette will love snuggling with as she grows.
