There’s just something about in-home newborn photography sessions that will always have my heart. Marley’s session was definitely no exception! She’s also extra special because she was born on my own baby’s first birthday. 😉
Is there anything sweeter than those first weeks as a family of three?? These moments always take me back to memories of my own firstborn’s newborn days. It is crazy how blurry it becomes over time! I love how Marley will be able to look back at these photos as see just how much love her parents have for each other and for her.
Marley is blessed not only with the sweetest parents, but lucked out in the grandma department as well! I had the pleasure of meeting both her grandmas, who were more than ready to snuggle her for a few photos. It’s always a plus when we get to involve some of baby’s other loved ones at their session. I am certain these photos will be cherished by the grandmas AND by Marley.
And speaking of all family members…I am never one to exclude those of the furry variety! I will never get tired of photographing family pets alongside their new addition. These pups were happy to pose for me! OK they were absolutely just in it for the treats. But they did great!
We had great weather on the day of Marley’s session, and we took advantage of it by moving outside for a few more family shots!
At the end of our time together, Marley’s dad had one last photo request. He was so proud of their coordinating outfits and it was just too adorable. I have a feeling Marley will be one of those girls who can rock florals one day and Jordans the next!
